An international forum on the role of the oceans in multi-decadal climate variability, organized by First Institute of Oceanography of SOA, was held in Beijing, China during 21-22 Sep 2013. Fourteen world-famous scientists were invited as lecturers of this forum and more than 200 participants attended.
