On the 10 September 2026, trainees took part in the module Introduction to Regional Ocean Modeling with CROCO: Theory and Hands-on Practice. The session was delivered by Dr. K M Azam Chowdhury, Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka and Director of its International Center for Ocean Governance.
 Through guided practice, trainees deepened their understanding of CROCO model configuration and applications. Discussions connected the model exercises with real research and operational needs, including coastal circulation, marine ecosystems, ocean forecasting, and marine disaster risk reduction. The day concluded with trainee reports from Group 6, in which participants shared research backgrounds, institutional experience, and ideas for future cooperation.
